Re-establishment surveys define the legal boundaries of a parcel of land and are required for:
- The set-out of a house within a lot or improvements such as erecting a fence or retaining walls
The installation of services such as fibre optic cables, sewerage and power along a street boundary alignment
Locating the position of existing improvements relative to a boundary which may include the identification of an encroachment.
