Kathleen Valley lithium project

Project by Liontown Resources, represents a groundbreaking approach to lithium mining by integrating renewable energy solutions directly into its operations. While lithium extraction remains the core focus of the project, the inclusion of wind and solar farms underscores the mining industry’s increasing commitment to reducing its environmental impact. As the project surveyors for Monadelphous/Jagcor, we are proud to be involved with the construction of critical infrastructure that is central to the project’s success. This includes the processing facilities, associated buildings, and the integration of renewable energy systems, such as wind and solar

Greenbushes Lithium Mine

located in Western Australia, is one of the world's largest and longest-operating hard rock lithium mines. Situated approximately 250 kilometres south of Perth and 90 kilometres southeast of Bunbury, the mine has been operational for over a century, originally focusing on tin and tantalum extraction. In recent years, the surge in global demand for lithium—a crucial component in lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and energy storage solutions—has led to a significant expansion of operations at Greenbushes. We are honoured to contribute to this landmark project as the project surveyors for several esteemed companies, including Monadelphous, Jagcor, Lycopodium, Mondium, and Valmec. We also provide surveying services to the mine owners and operators, Talison Lithium, on a day to day basis. Our involvement includes surveying work for the new processing facilities and associated buildings, playing a key role in supporting the mine's expansion and modernization efforts.

Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR)

The Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) is the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken in the South-West of Western Australia. Designed with a focus on improving road safety, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing access to Bunbury and surrounding areas, BORR also plays a pivotal role in supporting the economic growth of the region. By improving transport links for freight and commuters, this development will better connect the Southwest to other major transport hubs. The Southwest Gateway Alliance, of which we are the Project Surveyors, has been heavily involved in this transformative project. Our work on BORR began in 2020, a year ahead of the project's formal start in 2021. Spanning 27 kilometres of rural highway and another 27 kilometres of local roads, our responsibilities also include surveying for the construction of approximately 9 major bridge structures. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this landmark project.
