Designed with a focus on improving road safety, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing access to Bunbury and surrounding areas, BORR also plays a pivotal role in supporting the economic growth of the region. By improving transport links for freight and commuters, this development will better connect the Southwest to other major transport hubs.

The Southwest Gateway Alliance, of which we are the Project Surveyors, has been heavily involved in this transformative project. Our work on BORR began in 2020, a year ahead of the project’s formal start in 2021. Spanning 27 kilometres of rural highway and another 27 kilometres of local roads, our responsibilities also include surveying for the construction of approximately 9 major bridge structures. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this landmark project.
